At LEAP... every moment is a learning experience.

Regular Program

First Steps (1 year old & older)
The curriculum for the youngest children is designed to promote healthy development of motor, cognitive, and language skills as opportunities occur in daily routines and simple play activities. Students in this class are required to be with a parent or yaya. This program is also directed to educate the caregivers in child development the ‘DAP’ way.

Toddler (2 – 3 years old)

Through play and consistent r
outines, the program seeks to achieve developmental milestones and bring out each child’s unique temperament. Immersion in social interactions and communications will develop confidence, self-help skills and trust in the school environment.

Pre-K1 (3 – 4 years old)
Recognizing each child’s growing need for independence, the objective of the program is to empower the child through a developmental curriculum using child-centered themes, hands-on experiences, creative projects and guided instruction.

Pre-K2 (4 – 5 years old)

Emphasis is placed on mastering skills basic to reading, writing and spelling while utilizing opportunities through whole-language experiences and creative expression. Since children in this level will be moving onto the “big schools,” an immediate goal is the preparation for the transition.

Other Services

Parent Workshop
Seeing parents as partners in a child’s learning process, close coordination and support are encouraged by both teachers and parents. LEAP offers specialized parent workshops as well as individual support to parents with regard to issues on topics that are of common interest.

Yaya Workshop
Understanding that, in the Philippines setting, the caregiver plays a major role in child rearing, LEAP School emphasizes the importance of training and assisting the caregivers. The “yayas” are encouraged to undergo on-site training and workshops that focus on the child’s health, safety, and development. The teachers demonstrate practical techniques and age appropriate activities that will enable them to better handle and understand the children they care for.
